Ande Wanderer is a multimedia freelancer who has lived on five continents and currently resides in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Through the years she has generated, researched and written over a thousand articles and provided over 1,500 photos to wire services, alternative weeklies, community and ethnic newspapers, travel publications and magazines.
She has interviewed notable people such as writer/activist, Arundhati Roy; fashion designers, Mary McFadden and the notorious Anand Jon; musicians DJ Spooky, DJ Logic and Talvin Singh and quantum physicist and transcendental three-time U.S. presidential candidate, John Hagelin.
She has authored three columns; ‘Thought for Food’ a vegetarian restaurant review column appearing in India in New York (IANS/Rediff), ‘The Vagabond,’ a budget travel column in Go-Go magazine and ‘Northside Views’ for the North Denver Tribune. Her articles have been translated into Spanish and many east Indian languages.
In 2007 she completed a year-long documentary course with the Film Worker’s Syndicate of Buenos Aires (known by its Spanish acronym, SICA), taught herself Final Cut Pro and got her start doing videos for Geobeats.com, the Associated Press and private clients. Her current focus is on producing a wide variety of multimedia content and short documentaries.
